A great read. I am so sick of fanbases like IU and others who sit on their boards and espouse that "they only need Burger Boys" or Rivals 3 stars or some combination of the above.
The ratings services are so skewed and those fans hanging on the nuts of a high school kid by following them around AAU tourneys in their IU, DUKE, or whatever gear and hooting and hollering every time their recruit throws down a dunk and criticizing other schools recruits when they do the same as "showboats or glory seekers" should get a healthy dose of reality from this article.
There are so many factors that make a basketball career but there is no doubt that those kids who are elevated by the sc outing services and media and constantly feeding the parents , kids and handlers future dreams that may or may not be accurate or even wildly remotely possible
