Matt Sussman is the best thing that's happened to the MAC in a long time. He works his ass off.

As for anyone who thinks he isn't funny... sorry that you prefer fart jokes.

That's just silly. The best thing that's happened to the MAC in a long time? And my only choices in humor are Matt Sussman and fart jokes? Yeah... gonna disagree with you there.

+1. sounds like sour grapes when you crap all over a guy who's just trying to maintain a MAC blog. y'now, since there's hundreds of MAC blogs to chose from and all.

Sour grapes over what? I didn't say I'm against him or dislike him- heck, we're Facebook friends- I just don't find him funny and never have. No less than Will Leitch is a fan of his. I appreciate the work he does and that he used his Deadspin cache to bring some visibility to the conference.

I guess nobody wants to bite on my idea of naming the top 25.

I'm horribly underqualified to try my hand at that.

Admittedly, I don't pay attention to sports other than the Bobcats so I have little to compare him to. That being said, I follow him on Twitter and I think he's pretty funny.

I think the poll acurately identified the Top 6.

Who is the douche that wrote this article?  I like calling Geno "little dude" and adding his own little spice to Gary's nickname (The Shaq of the MF'ing MAC).  That's good journalism.

He's not a journalist. He's someone who has been painfully unfunny since he started writing for the BG News.

His bingo cards for Deadspin had their moments. His MAC blog has been dependably brutal.

Are you joking? You have to be joking.

Not joking. I find nothing substantial on the site. I read it daily. It takes five minutes. I don't doubt he works his ass off. So do I. Doesn't mean if you're understaffed or biting off more than you can chew that it will end up a good product.

I don't learn anything substantial and I don't find perspectives that make me think. I hear an outsider's view of a program that most on this board know more about than the writer.

And as Louis CK recently said on the Daily Show, there's nothing NOT funny about farts.

Louis CK is funnier  than anything you can name.

Sour grapes? Not really. I wish him the best. He gets my clicks every day. It's still dependably brutal. There is a difference between a site that gets my click and holds my attention for a few hours.

Just because there is a blog covering a subject, doesn't mean there needs to be a blog covering something. I just don't think the resources or the interest is out there to run a blog dedicated to all of the teams in the MAC -- especially when there's no reporting being done.

Give me something I can't get anywhere else on earth. Do it in a way that I learn something I never knew, or else it's useless to me.

Instead, as much of the internet now gives us...it's warmed over slop. Free slop, so people can't complain about it, I suppose. Still slop, though.

Content is now valueless. That's a shame.
