Jarrod Jones

Second Team:

Best Playmaker: D.J. Cooper. Cooper rated as 21st PG in country.

They have Marshall as the 34th best team in the country.

Ivo Baltic making All-MAC 2nd team sounds like a plan. Shake things up a bit.

D.J. the 21st best point guard in NCAA? Wow, either there are a ton of great PGs out there by some fluke, or he's not getting enough respect IMHO.

The MAC the 17th best conference ... ugh ... is a 17th seed in March Madness far away?

Somebody page Curtis Kidd or Dan Palombizio or Vic Alexander or something.

Wow, Curtis Kidd of Ball St. Now that was a team, one of the better MAC teams over the past 30 years.

Best I can do is Jim Zalenka.

Dave Kowalski.

That guy had the most ridiculous looking form on his free throws that I've ever seen except maybe for Manute Bol or Rick Barry.

Back to topic - somewhat - whatever happened to David Kool or whatever his name was from WMU? He doesn't deserve this, but nothing, to me, demonstrates the decline of the MAC like him being the preeminent player one year instead of a Bonzi Wells or an Antonio Daniels or a Grant Long or a Chris Kaman or even Snoopy Graham.

Just saw Curtis, Parris McCurdy and Chandler Thompson. Roman Mueller walked in my office and asked why all the OHio autographed posters and signs on the walls. Had no idea the 2 year old he used to lift up to the basket went on to play ball. Billy Butts is local pastor, that was quite a team. Really enjoyed them and still do. Ball State ios back onthe rise and the latest round of recruits is going to be very good.
