ONE BILLION DOLLARS......
Ignore "Bobcat Love" - the "psuedo Bobcat Fan" community antagonistic ignoramus. Obviously you are a True fan, we all appreciate your interest. May be a while before you can get tics on either the OU or Lousiville website.

I attended the last game we had in L'Ville a couple years ago when they were in their older facility at the KY State Fairgrounds facility (can't remember the name right now - though "Love" will either remember, or Google it and hammer me w/some bullcrap here - though he wasn't on the floor right next to the L'Ville bench like my son and I were for the game - son w/green wild Van Kemppen wig on, and Pitino seeing us right outta the tunnel before game start! EAT THAT Love!). Jerome Tillman put on a Pridefull performance that day - we started out scaring them - Pitino had to call some early TO's to get them back on track - the overpowering depth of that team beat us in the end.

Anyway - the new facility downtown should be pretty awesome. Wonder if "Love" will be there???? (doubt it, SERIOUSLY! - is it really more a "crush")...........

Was planning to go to this game, but instead I'll be in Maine at my daughters for Thanksgiving.  irony is that my daughter's father in-law, Ron, lives in Louisville and we were going to go to the new Freedom Hall with him.  However, he'll be in Maine also for this command performance so we'll both be watching the game in a sports bar in Portland.  Ron showed us the new Freedom Hall when it was under construction the last time we were in Louisville.  Sorry that I won't be able to see it this time, but Ron has season tickets to Louisville's women's games, so maybe we'll go down there another time this season and see the new place.  Go OHIO!

You ain't kidding.  We were there last year for Thanksgiving and the mile walk from our hotel to my daughter's place was enough to make me think Ohio was in the tropics.  We were there this summer, also, and it's a much more hospital place that time of year.  It was also interesting to discover that in the summer Maine is the "Florida of Canada."  There are several beaches not too far from Portland that cater almost exclusively to Canadians.  We drove through this one place -- Old Orchard Beach, I believe it was -- and every establishment had a Canadian flag out in front and 90 percent of the license plates were from New Brunswick and other Canadian provinces.

OCF...they are calling the new digs in Louisville the "KFC Yumm Center"...doesn't have quite the same ring to it as "Freedom Hall."

Jeff, yes Ron told me that when we saw the construction site, but I had forgotten.  I like the name I made up better, New Freedom Hall, but I guess there's no money in that!

I think from now on I'll call the new center the Yummy in the Tummy Center.

I know somebody in Maine who wouldn't go to a week-long meeting in DC during mid-June because that IS Maine's summer and he didn't want to miss it.

I'm always shocked by the number of Quebecians (Quebecites?) we get all the way down here at the Delaware beaches. You also see a lot of them traveling up and down I-95 during the summer. Those Canadians love road trips.
