My take is that they spent thew whole game hoping instead of knowing they were going to win that game.
So many balls that are in the hands of any number of our players that we don't secure throughout the entire game.
We still take advantage of their horrid shooting day enough to have the game in our hands and we simply fail to win.
This stinks and hurts. No other way to put it.
Now the best words I can think of is "hurt bad but don't hurt long" The rest of the season is still before us and not guaranteed to be won simply because of a good road showing vs. a team who's most important player was ailing.
Tip of the cap to Keeley for showing me the most I have seen from him as a Bobcat. We'll need the same and even more vs. Kent and Akron. You're making me eat my words and I couldn't be happier about it.
The most mature game I have seen from D.J since the Georgetown game. Not a single thing forced and when the moment was the moment you stepped up and became special. Well done.
What's up Kenny Belton? Do you have something for us later this season?
