I don't put a whole lot of stock in "bracketology" predictions in December, but I noticed that Jerry Palm now has Ohio winning the MAC tourney this year -- and this was posted three hours before the Oakland game started:

As I recall, back in October he had either Kent or Akron going to the dance.  At least some may be starting to notice.

That is if OHIO can finish high enough in the MAC regular season standings to at least earn a Top 4 seed to the conference tourney. Aside from a #4 finish one year in the MAC its never happened since the conference expanded to 12 teams. This team is looking capable though of playing some quality ball in MAC play and breaking through to the top tier finally.

Thank Dambrot and Geno for that rule.  Pissants. Heck we cut one game out of the regular season so that every team no matter what the record could have a shot at the state football title. Still a possibility of rteams to come together in a playoff and win it all.
