I've not seen them play in person yet, only the clips posted on OhioBobcats.com, but the ball movement from the guards looks really good. We're getting all kinds of good shots/post entries/driving opportunities off of an additional pass.
With the speed on the perimeter and guys making the extra pass, that's really tough to defend.
Also - kudos to the strength/conditioning staff and to coaching staff. How about Keely's body? He's a different player. Reminds me of KVK's transformation. And, Ivo has more moves in his back pocket than most college post players. I think he's one of the tougher match-ups in the conference.
I think our posts match our style of play really well. With the amount of ball screens we set, rolls to the bucket we need guys who can move. Smith, Ivo, Keely represent that. I like that.
