The difference between now and then is in the locker room. When everyone is on the same page going in the same direction good things happen. NO matter how much talent you have or how deep you are.....if there are agendas other than basketball the team suffers.
Agree. I get the feeling that Stevie Fresh has some more "freedom" at Mercyhurst.
Not sure what "freedom" means but Mike ALlen is there as a coach and probably has a degree o responsibility in the mentoring process.
Steve is a great kid with a few demons that haunted him ....hope he is in a better place and it works out. I often look at him compared to Ryan McDaniel, one of the kids that played on our SPeice Indy Heat team, WHile Jeff teadue went off to Wake and the ATL Hwks, Tommy went to OHIO, Phil COllin to St Joe, Pogue to CLeve State, John Freeman to SIU, Mixon, Thomas to IU{UI ole Ryan got them all ....he followed his love of Music and only plays pick up games after leading Indiana high schools in scoring in 07. His career is significantly further along in music and production than Steves. CAreer which started at the same time with different progress. I hope Steve gets a few breaks along the way and makes it...using basketball to his advantage he can still trade on hhttp:is skill for an education. Ryan meanwhile continues to put out the tunes

Having stopped at Mercy Hurst on the way to the Buffalo game last year in the midst of a 15 inch snowstorm I hope he is appreciative of how mild the Athens climate was in comparision.
