Snooze you lose.....I waited to long and the event is sold out. That is awesome despite the fact I am on the outside looking in.

Now I need to decide if I should go and risk not being able to see he Bowl Game on a TV inside Nutter.

DC,

Their "Verizon Deck" is supposed to be like a mini BW-3. Pre-game they said we would have access but I'm not sure about during the game. When I'm there, I'll definitely try to work something out and spread the word.

Anybody have any other ideas? Anyone have a laptop with mobile wi-fi that they could bring?

I received my tickets and they are in section 210. Not exactly behind the Ohio bench but close to the end of it. And they appear to be close to the floor.

Ted,

Is it safe to assume all tickets will be together at least for the bash group?

DC,

I say go to the hoops game in person, and worst case, DVR the game to watch at home.  Either that, or you might be able to tune into Russ and Rob via Columbus AM 1230 while at the Nutter Center.

The OUAA handled ticket distribution so I can't say for sure but when I was working with the ticket office guy he said he would block off a group of tickets until we figured out how many we needed. Plus, I think that's where they usually put opposing team's fans. Given the way the Raiders have drawn at home this year (averaging 2,993 in a 10,000 seat arena), I don't think it really matters.

From OUAA:

Parking:

Parking is on a first come first, serve basis.  There is no cost to park as parking is included in the cost of the game ticket.  There are several lots that are reserved parking that require passes and are clearly marked.
The Nutter Center recommends Lot 8 for our event but lots 3 and 7 are available for parking also.

To view the parking map visit  http://www.nuttercenter.com/directions_parking.aspx

Entrance to the Nutter Center:

When entering the Nutter Center, you (and your guests) will want to enter through Gate 9 McClin Gym Entrance.  Gate 9 will bring you in on the ground level and then you’ll need to take the stairs or elevator to level 4 which is the Mt. Dew deck, where our pregame is being held.

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Game:

As I’m sure most of you know our OHIO Bobcats are going a bowl game the same night as our pregame and game.  The bowl game will start at 5:30 est and the Nutter Center has graciously offered to show the game on the three televisions on the Fricker’s deck, just across from our pregame.  All pregame guests will be able to access the Fricker’s deck to view the game.

Thanks Ted, Erica, and everyone else who put this together.  I'm looking forward to a good day of hoops.  It's my first Bobcat road trip in a little while, and hopefully one of couple this season.
