I was curious to see how Kinney was doing at San Jose State. The Spartans aren't doing so hot, but Kinney appears to be their top player. He leads the team in scoring (15.3) and steals. He's shooting 41% from 3 and 83% from the line. He was a good player for us while he lasted...I wonder how strongly he was influenced by Coleman and Bassett, or if he brought his troubles on himself.

He appears to be the man out there. His stats looked a lot better prior to the last two games. He had averaged just under 22 points per game over a six game stretch and over 27 ppg for the previous three games before his two most recent games. But the last two games he's gone 3-25 dropping his overall shooting percentage from 46% to 38.9%.

Probably some regression to the mean, too. I'm still following him on Twitter... he says some interesting things, but he seems to be pretty focused out there.
