Will be a challenge for Ohio to prepare mentally for this game vs. North Carolina A&T.  We respect all opponents for their strengths, but coming off a big win over UNI could interfere somewhat with the focus on the game to come.  But based on what I've seen so far this season, I think it's likely the guys will come ready to play.  Our depth definitely helps in this regard.

According to the Sagarins, Ohio should be about a 29 point favorite Friday.  There may not be an official spread in the Dispatch. 

I think A&T will be coming off a game at Akron.

29 sounds about right, I'd like to see us up 20 at the half and ride it out from there.  But I agree with Jeff "Pump the Breaks" McKinney...We gotta focus one game at a time.

I don't. I'm tired of taking it one game at a time. I'm fast forwarding all the way to the 2013 NCAA Championship game.

Let's hope the team remembers Morgan State.

Two days before Christmas, the Bobcats are giving us an early present: Lots of points.

North Carolina A&T likes to run (75.8 possessions/40, 8th fastest in the country) and can't defend (274th in D-PPP). They can't really score, either (295th in O-PPP). They also foul a lot (22 FPG, 326th).

Remember our early shooting woes? Now, we sport a 52.1 effective field goal percentage, tops in the MAC and 76th nationally. Combine that with being one of a handful of teams to be top 100 in offensive and defensive efficiency and it's blowout city. We could see a fourth consecutive bench clearing.

This is one of those where you take care of business and go home for the holiday.  Two of their four wins were over DII and DIII teams and they've lost five games by 20+ points, including last night at Akron.  They like to spread the scoring and the playing time around -- they don't have anyone averaging more than 25 mins a game.  They have depth but it doesn't seem to help much.  They can't be overlooked but this shouldn't even be close.

Pretty excited to say I'll be home for the game tonight!

Finishing up at work early today and making the trek back.

This will be my first live game of the year - and despite the opponent I am excited.

I get the feeling Bobcats need some post presence..a couple mean 6'6-6'8 guys would be nice. Seems like we are just guard heavy and Ivo is just too....nice and Keeley  akward at times.
