Against Portland and tonight against NIU Groce called a time out after a little run near the end of the first half. In both games the BOBCATS came out with runs of their own...In both games they never looked back from that point.
I think Coach Groce keeps getting better and better as an "in game" coach.

They scored on every possession coming out of those timeouts..impressive.

I agree that this year, unlike in past years in the Groce Era, we seem to do something positive out of time outs. JG is learning from his OJT. That's good news, indeed. Go OHIO!

I've also noticed that use of times out is more judicious and productive.

It doesn't hurt that we seem to always have a clever way to score on an inbound from under the hoop.
