Here's what I find interesting. Bella Mir, a wrestler at Iowa, is also working as a professional MMA fighter, where she is 3-0. So, she's a professional athlete, but still able to compete in wrestling at Iowa.

Does this mean that NCAA players could compete in the TBT million dollar tournament? If not basketball players, could football players who are good at basketball, since it's a different sport?

Sounds more like she’s going to be an ambassador for the UFC development program; which won’t intervene with her competing as a college wrestler. The article even states this deal doesn’t guarantee she’ll fight in UFC, but could join the promotion in the future. Helps that she’s Frank Mir’s daughter, so it’s likely inevitable that she one day does.

WWE has a similar NIL program — for superstars of tomorrow. It’s an eventual opportunity to to potentially become a pro wrestler but not interfere with current sport.

This is nothing new, you've been able to do this for many years. Just can't be professional in your college sport.
