This is probably our best shot of not starting conference play 0-5.

Not sure I agree. Ball State beat Toledo on the road to open MAC play

Ball State is the most improved team in the league this season, mostly because of a brand new backcourt with transfers Boogie Coleman, who was MAC frosh of the year at Ball St. before transfering and starting for Missouri last year, and Demarius Jacobs from St. Louis. Both average around 13-14 pts, 3-4 boards and 3 assists. Jacobs leads the league in blocked shots. If nothing else, the pair relegate former starter Luke BumbalOUgh from starter to little-used backup. You think BRod saw his 3-pt shooting % decrease drastically, check out Luke's numbers. Yet, Ball St. announcers still refer to him as a sharpshooter.

If this game is close at the end I would consider the Hack-a-Sparks strategy.

Will students be back on campus for 2 homes games this week?

Probably not. Classes don't start until next Tuesday. The dorms do open at 9 Saturday morning.

Coming in the weekend before classes start to enjoy all that Athens has to offer is a must on quarters or semesters!

Vegas believes in the Bobcats a lot more than the Bobcat fans so far this MAC season. Regardless, I love that this is the 3rd (and Kent will probably be the 4th) game in a row where there is essentially no line. Love MAC play.

Used one of my free $25 online sign up bets on a 6 leg parlay... all MAC games... and all with spreads of 4 or less.

Better yet, real semesters rather the fake semester system virtually all Ohio school are on. 16 weeks = real semesters. 14 weeks = fake semesters. They claim that it's the same because they extend the instructional time of each class period so you are theoretically in class for the same number of total hours. But everyone knows that learning is frequently impaired with fewer actual class periods because in many classes with tougher material it takes time to absorb new material and be ready for the next lesson. At some point, I think, the Ohio Legislature will become aware of this scam.

For good or bad, BRod getting start in place of Clayton. . . disagree on all points Rob C made about what BRod brings to the team lately.

This offense drives me crazy. Too much iso ball and not enough off-ball movement. Sparks getting his second foul gives me hope though.

Owning the offensive boards Wilson/some Clayton

Guess we'll have to live with a HOT and cold Clayton from game to game but really HOT when he is hot.

Awesome win against Testicle Tech tonight! Really really down Elmore got ejected as well, but great great win to get our mojo back for Kent State this Friday - should be making the drive down that morning with my sister (Current KSU student, ugh).

Who from the coaching staff is reading this board? After BG debacle, I begged to start bringing Clayton off the bench. Mission accomplished with great results. I’m too humble to take the credit though.
