Looks like 10 sections will be open but according to our site, not one ticket had sold yet.

Has there ever been an NCAA game with 0 attendance that was NOT during a pandemic? We could get there.

Hate to continue to bang the drum on this, but how in the hell can we not get into a quality pre-season tournament the last two years?
Everywhere you look up this season...you see MAC teams playing in the Bahamas...Mexico...Florida or California for a tournament. It really doesn't make any sense. Instead we get this ridiculous weekend of Alabama State and Eastern Illinois and then UC Clermont.

I wonder if it's travel budget related since we already took a Spain trip this year?
Just a thought

One upside to this is that games in a lot of these tournaments are on some streaming service (FloSports as an example) that I don't have access to.

Judging by how this season has gone, I think it's a blessing we didn't get into a quality tournament. lol

This is where I’m at. I was critical of these games but given the timing of them; three straight home games against subpar opponents might be a blessing in disguise to right the ship, boost some confidence, and be fully healthy assuming AJ and IJ return.

Full confession though. If I were in town and had nothing to do, I'd probably go and sit behind one of the benches just to observe in-game bench management.

If I were in Athens on this Saturday afternoon:
Jackie O's beer, Neanderthal Pizza and wall to wall football

Mozzarella and Provolone cheese.
Sausage, pepperoni and bacon.
Usually get fried curds as an appetizer .
Not exactly healthy,
BUT they taste real good.

I'm in favor of playing as good of a schedule as possible. But that being said, in a one horse town like Athens, hoops at the Convo should draw much better, no matter the opponent.
