But it is available in Ashland, KY and Westfield, NY. Interesting. I watched our STO games on Time Warner Cable in Cincinnati last year, but for the life of me, I cannot remember the channel number.

AHHHHH Yes.... the reason despite all that I stick with my Directv. Stillhate them but they always have the games I need.....unless that happens to change.

Anyone here have At&T that can speak tothe availability of OHIO games on the service?

I believe that is correct, they don't carry STO as a matter of course, but carry some programming (like the MAC) on 99 which is something of a general-purpose overflow channel.

While I can't speak to the specific "blacked-outted-ness" of the MAC games on STO, I have found that subscribing to the Sports Package ($11/month or so) on DirecTV tends to leave a ton of games in the clear, both inside and outside what is listed as part of ESPN's Full Court package.

In southern Ohio, we are in sort of a bizarre overlay for regional sports networks. For example, in Parkersburg, DirecTV grants me FOX Sports Ohio and ROOT Pittsburgh completely free & clear (Reds, Pirates, Penguins, CBJ, Cavs); if I lived in Washington County, Ohio, literally 4000 feet away, I would also get STO and unlimited Tribe games free & clear as well. Usually the cable companys in southern Ohio (mostly Time Warner), will use that 99/bonus channel above when there is a split between the northern & southern halves of FOX Sports Ohio to provide Cavs & CBJ concurrently.

99...that was it. Is there any way to find out if this will happen again? I'll be in Cincinnati the weekend of the BGSU game and of course I want to watch it.

Don't see any mention of it in this year's STO release, but I just checked and last year's doesn't mention it either.  Kind of a crap shoot -- ESPN3 access if you have it could be a backup plan.
