It's nice that Wright State has recovered and is off to a good start in the Horizon League.

Also, the record of Ohio schools as a whole is pretty impressive.

Yes, all of the Buckeye State schools as a whole are doing very well in hoops.  I should also point out that so far, we're undefeated in bowl games, 2-0.  O$U could mess things up tomorrow.

Cincinnati in Ohio?  I guess I just had a DiSalle moment.*

*Governor Mike DiSalle once said in the 1960s that every Ohioan was rooting for Ohio State to win the national championship, forgetting for the moment that the University of Cincinnati was in Ohio and that they were a ranked team.  And, of course, UC beat OSU in the championship game.  This lost him votes in the Queen City when he was running for re-election.

This got me thinking about the ol' Rock and Roll Shootout at the Gund. I liked the mostly Ohio-based matchups. I'd pay to see some good non-MAC, in-state games in Cleveland. It'd be a great alumni tool for a lot of Ohio schools too. Let's keep Xavier-Cincy apart, though.
