Dispatch reporters and editors answer readers' questions about Ohio State athletics at BuckeyeXtra.com:
Q:I know that Ohio State and Ohio University have not met in men's basketball for more than a decade and was wondering who won the last game between them. -- Steve Burkley, Newark
A: The Bobcats last played the Buckeyes in the 1994 Preseason NIT, when Gary Trent (26 points, 15 rebounds) led Ohio past Ohio State 78-67 on Nov. 16 in Columbus. Current OSU assistant coach Jeff Boals added 14 and eight off the bench for the Bobcats, who went on to win the tournament championship by defeating New Mexico State, 84-80 in overtime at New York's Madison Square Garden.
