"Junior PF Reggie Keely has been slowed recently with some minor back spasms. Keely hasn’t missed any game time as yet, but he has been limited in practice over the past week because of the spasms."
"Belton, at this point, remains a long shot to be a meaningful contributor on a regular basis this season."
We are not going to get the big so the only other option is a pure shooter which is just as big of a need.
We might not get

Partial list of former Bobcat bigs who weren't prized recruits but had legitimate size or played like they did, knew how the game went and would've worked fine:
KVK, Terren Harbut, Jeff Boals, Rich Stanfel, Nate Cole, Jamie Brock, Ed Sears
A few of these guys weren't that mobile and wouldn't have been perfect for Groce's style, but the point is that Keely, Baltic and Smith is too thin of a frontcourt.
Not trying to be Captain Obvious, though ... and I really don't have good insight on why it's this way. Assumedly, the Alex Kellogg and Maurice Pearson departures plus Jacobs not developing are major factors.
