I've read through all the threads.  Some thoughts I agree on, others I don't.  My observations from the Akron game and going forward are these:

1)  Whether the refs are calling the game tight, or loose, some of OUr guys don't do nearly enough to draw contact and get to the charity stripe.  I think we got the short end of the stick a little as far as quantities of fouls called against us, but some of the blame has to be directed within the locker room.

2)  In the final five minutes, I felt like we got homered.  Particularly with the "intentional" foul at the end of the game.  To me, that's an inexcusable to make.  No matter, we still could have won it.

3)  I would hope that the O Zone would have a field day with Zeke Marshall when he comes to Athens.  Looked close to tears when he was yanked with early foul trouble.

4)  Shot selection remained a problem.  Still have some guys forcing up bad shots.  I point out DJ forcing outside shots.  JSF pointed out to me Ivo forcing up shots in the post while being double teamed.  Regardless, it's a problem that needs addressed within the locker room and at practice.

5)  I feel like we're one big offensive game away from going on a winning streak.  Guys just need a good night to instill confidence.

I think the Ozone could use some blown up/oversize versions of just his face for the Akron game in the Convo......

and no matter how much lipstick they put on, there's always this:  they're still 'kron.

and that is not good ugly.

If we would win out until then (not likely, but hey I've seen stranger things happen), I wonder what attendance would be.
