Toler was a vagabond in HS finally settling in at then little known Covenant Christian competing in the smallest school class leaving the IPS school system behind. One of those athletes that was shopped around to schools but no one really wanted. He came out with Andrew Smith who now plays at Butler after both completed a pretty successful domination of the smallest high schools in Indiana.

When I saw him up at NIU the last time we played them there I was thinking he might have turned things around and put his past behind him.
