Found the thread from last year about IJ. He missed the beginning of the season with mono according to Boals. Hopefully this knee injury is a fluke and not a sign of things to come.

"Boals mentioned in the post-game that IJ had mono and was out for 2-3 weeks. He's healthy now but slowly trying to get his legs and conditioning back into shape."

Not to mix sports, but years ago Toledo had a player, QB I believe, who was like 28. It was mentioned all the time — on every broadcast. As I recall he had joined the Army out of high school and then after several years in the service entered college as a freshman.

Ohio has had one in David Terry, who went to school on the GI Bill, played for Cleve and led the nation in tackles.

Do you remember how old he was? Was he 28 or older? Just curious.

Right at it, he did an full enlistment in the USMC, then went to JUCO before he came to Athens.

I feel a bit sorry for him. If the rest of the guys who start, or have started, played as intense as he does, we'd not be 11-11.
