True, but in this context, what I meant was that it occurred after I graduated. My day would be the beginning of ancient history for most on this board.

I recently ran across some baseball cards of Scott Tedder. He was All American in both basketball and baseball and drafted by White Sox after OWU. Played with Jordan during his baseball stint at Birmingham.

Columbus Whitehall, was Jordan’s Roommate and batted a career .281 in the minors but never really got the shot at the show. Great person as well as a great Athlete. Also a member of the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame. Don’t know his HS teammate, but I do know Scott. Umpired him when he was in college.

It's been several years (decades, actually), but I think he had a 7-foot Whitehall teammate that visited Ohio but ended up at Duke. Maybe cc-cat remembers the campus visit details.

Friday 1/16 @ Ball State (interesting choice)

There are two Friday slots for TV the weekend of Feb 28. We play Toledo in what is currently our only Saturday conference home game with students on campus. Hopefully the Convo is booked on Friday night for the high school tournament.

Is the Cleveland Hoops Showdown a double ticket? I’m sitting on the website and it seems like one ticket for both games, but I can’t actually find the wording to confirm. Did anyone go last year? Do you have to clear out and come back?

By the way, we got a little bit of a decent hand in the MAC schedule. Only one game apiece with Akron, Kent, and BG (also only a home game with WMU... K-zoo isn't always a friendly place for us).

I'm working on going down to Norfolk for that game.
Ohio vs. ODU (4-12) is a very winnable road game.

Much better matchup than Arkansas St (10-5) was in the 1st round

Yes playing Akron, Kent and BG only once is a huge break. Going to ODU will be much better than playing a top tiered Sun Belt team.
