I know you said this in jest (sorta the same was I called us the worst 19-4 team in the MAC a few days ago), but I do have to say this: as painful as wednesday's loss to Toledo was to make, I can't imagine how painful it would have been if that haw ruined a perfect season, a la Tennessee St. over Murray State

Did you see how they lost? Did you see the Technical Foul called on a flop by a TSU player?

The difference is it doesn't end their at large hopes.  It just damages their seeding.  They are also still winning their conference and will still be ranked. Disappointing for them to say the least but much easier to get over and much less lost.

I think it makes them questionable for at large.  Their RPI has dropped to mid-50s (from the 30s).  If they lose in the conference tourney, they would likely drop to 70+, which could even knock them off the bubble, although they would have only two losses.  Just goes to show that it's not just how many you lose, but when and to whom.  Either SE Mo St or SW Mo St was ranked a few years ago but lost their tourney and didn't make the cut.

I did. I watched the last 10 minutes. The flop didn't "cost" them the game...Murray State received ample opportunities in the last 3 minutes to win that game and failed to do so.

I think they play a big game this weekend...Austen Peay? They MUST win their regular season title AND maybe win a game or two in the OVC tournament. I bet they will because this loss has to wake them up but.....

The flop....
