19 regular-season wins is the most in Coach Groce's tenure at Ohio.

19 regular-season wins also ties the best by Coach O'Shea ('07-'08).

The most recent seasons in which Ohio had more than 19 regular-season wins were the '93-'94 and '94-'95 campaigns.  Both teams won 22 games in the regular season.

Ohio has 8 regular-season games remaining this season.

---

The all-time record for single-season wins at Ohio is 25, set in '93-'94.

Ohio will play a minimum of 9 more games this season.

---

Ohio's current win percentage of .826 would tie the team for third all-time in win percentage with the '21-'22 squad, which finished the season at exactly 19-4.

---

Since the MAC went to divisions and the 16-game league schedule (in '06-'07), the most conference wins Ohio has collected in a single season is 9 (3 times).

In the five seasons the MAC has played in divisions, Ohio has only had two different records (9-7 three times, 7-9 twice).

Its amazing to think that barring any unforseen big slump, we are in the middle of, in terms of wins and losses, the most successful regular season in OHIO history.

And to think that we still might come out without the regular season MAC title just shows how strong the East is this year.

The MAC is like a tennis player right now. One arm is a whole lot more muscular than the other.

That's fine for the short-term. It can't continue like this. The West has to start to pull its weight soon or the whole notion of divisions is just silly.

Well, the whole notions of divisions is already silly. But moreso if one half of the conference is awful.

One of the "most successful season" does not equate to "one of the best teams".

Really, with the format introduced this season, it makes zero sense at all.  Division winners don't get preference, so what is the point?

What's sad is that, by playing the West twice, it should be easier for a mediocre team in the West to vault up into the top two seeds because they have a much easier schedule.  They can't even pull that off.

If you went to one divison wouldn't that likely increase the number of conference games to 22 from 16?  Maybe that's not a foregone conclusion but seems the most likely result of doing away with divisions.  I think that hurts the MAC East teams even worse because we'd have to play those awful teams twice.

Fun facts? When is the last time we won at EMU?  I am thinking it has been a decade at least. Maybe I missed one in there but I honestly can not remember the last time we won against this hugely successful and monster program on their court.

I would think it becomes an unbalanced schedule, wouldn't you?

Ohio actually has lost only two in a row at EMU, last winning 75-63 on Jan. 11, 2006.
