Jacobs came in at the media time out
Toledo was already rolling going from 15-0 to 26-12. He did not help his case with 2 fouls but the momentum had shifted. He left the game at 26-22 us and subsequently the "starters" let 26-22 us balloon to 36-30 them. Those same starters made important half time adjustments and executed flawlessly letting UT run to 49-38 before the first subs came in.
I think we can lay this entire blame on Jacobs and poor coaching. It obviously, according to the actual play by play and much vaunted eyeball test, has absolutely nothing to do with poor execution and "soft " play, 18 foot fadeaways over a guy who is 4-5 inches shorter or crappy shot selection.
