Catching up with the WOlves.

Still sitting in second after being the league doormat for years.

Tommy still leading the league in 3's made and Free Throws made

Nice article in Eurobasket

Convincing win over 3rd place Plymouth team Saturday nite to rebound after dropping 2 games in a row .

Shooting 88% FT.....Indiana kids are subjected to FT shooting by passionate volunteer coaches from Day 1 and reinforced by HS coaches all the way through till they find themselves volunteering as coaches.. Nice article on the subject for 695 and others who have kids they are coaching. Also discussed college FT woes. .

Enjoy.

Born,

Much needed change of pace thread. Glad to hear Tommy continues to kick *ss. Please have him send videos of his FT technique to the current Bobcats team immediately!

Fear,

I think his technique is pretty much the same as Coach Sweet save for a few tweaks Coach Jerry Fisher passed on many moons ago that keep getting re inforced by all his former players,

Had to put up KVK in uniform....thinking there has to be a groupie joke in there with the golden arches.

I can t find the Geslem website but I think most of those have their own You Tube channels for those who want to see how the former players are doing on the floor. Saw Robbie Harman in the vid with KVK. Need to look at his stats.

I am going to have Carter read this article tonight.  He is shooting around 80% from the line as a 5th grader, but missed a critical 1-and-1 in a tie game that we eventually lost.  He has been focused on each FT since just in case it matters later.  The value of free throw shooting is so obvious to those of us that analyze the game based on fundamentals.  He has embraced learning the game and articles like this reinforce how important the little things are in preparing for the moment.  In Ohio's case, poor shooting has plagued the team this year.  Missing Tommy's consistency from the outside, as well as the FT line, has been obvious.  I'd love to see the Cats start shooting better % from all over the court, but the free throws are the hardest for me to watch.

Watched some of KVK game links. Cracked me up - like listening to the Muppets Swedish Chef with the play by play highlights, undecipherable, with the occasional "baseline", "rebound", "turnaround jumper", "teardrop", and "alley-oop" thrown in. I guess you can take the game out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the game..........

That may be the same O as Ohio, but either his role is much different or his game has totally changed.  I know that it was just the highlights, but it appears that he is playing with much more confidence now than the last four years.  Good to see.

I think it's more of his role changing and being allowed to do more than just shoot set 3's.  Wish we could see more of Kellogg and TJ being allowed to do the same.

Being severely undercultured, could someone help me out with the exchange rate for a tillman shirt? I'm going to need one of those, pronto.

borna-can we go back to that offense.  No picks at the top of the circle but lots of curls down low and on the baseline and guys penetrating to the basket and/or dishing it for open threes that are knocked down?  Please send this video to the basketball staff!

Is it just me, or have we historically had more former players play over in Europe than most or all MAC programs?  And perhaps more importantly, haven't our former players had more success over there than any other MAC school?

Assuming this is true (it may not be)...Why are we always hovering .500 in the MAC?!

Defense seems kinda casual in the Euro zone.  I guess that explains Greece.
