Both Nick Harney and Demetrius Treadwell are Akron sophomores who did not play last year. Akron's site say they sat the year out to "focus on academics."

At Akron, how long does it take to focus on academics? 10 minutes?

This may explain it.....As I posted on the recruiting board about Desmond Ridenour.

He's also a non-qualifier, by NCAA standards.  Kent and Akron can get him into school, where most 4 year colleges wil NOT take non-qualifiers.  This probably explains why they have offered him.  He has to pay his own way the first year, then if he's eligible he would get a scholarship, and have it for that 2nd year, and down the line.  This is what Akron did with Nick Harney, and Demetrius Treadwell, and Kent did with Scooter Johnson.  This may explain what's going on with him.

Severe cases of Attention Deficit Disorder.  From what we saw last night, the team can't stay focused for a full 35 seconds.
