He isn't our most talented player. He's only the guy who seems to have been our best player through the course of this season.
He has to defend the other side's post player, Marshall and his big height advantage for 'kron tonight. He anchors our defense at the basket. He fights on the boards. In the second half he'll get a key hoop or hit a key moment jumper. Free throws.
The big man gets out on the break, giving the effort to be there to finish.
Until now, I've spelled his last name incorrectly (apologies!) but pointed to him as a favorite. In the pre-season we said that we needed him to perk up, to grow his game significantly over what we'd seen in his first two years. This year, and how!
