Seems like a rather large spread for a conference tournament game and against any other MAC team I would take the points and the Rockets.  But, since they're playing my beloved Bobcats tonight, I feel like I'm in the middle of an ethical dilema and thought maybe a poll of my peers would help clear my conscience.

I'm in the airport getting ready to board a flight to Vegas. I will have four hours to contemplate that very question. I will probably bet the under and Toledo. If Ohio covers I'll be sad with my wallet and happy as a fan.

I did it when we were giving BG 4.5 while I was in Vegas.  I'm of the school of thought that I have no problem rooting for myself to lose money.  I hope I'm wrong but 9.5 is too good to pass up.

They must be thinking Toledo will be weary from their third game in four days - I haven't watched them much but I doubt they're a deep team.  They also struggled mightily with a bad CMU squad and have a poor record away from their home floor.  Ohio's Bobcats also have the revenge factor.  You can always take the Bobs on the money line!

I think it will right around there and some dumb meaningless few points or lack thereof one way or the other at the end will tip it.  It is why I can't gamble.

I try to never bet on my team.  Ever.

Meaningless 3 at the end and Ohio doesn't cover. This is why gambling is dumb.

Unfortunately I have to disagree....that's exactly what makes gambling fun and the lines laid by the "wise-guys" are the ultimate equalizer.

Say what you want but the guys that lay those lines know what they are doing....those palaces out there in Vegas don't get built by charity.....

Congrats to our bobcats on the win and congrats to any of us that not only watched the win but maybe made a few bucks on the blown spread.

I would have loved to have heard the screaming in the sportsbook as that three went down with half the crowd ecstatic and the other half distraught.

Guy behind me was screaming "Shoot, shoot, shoot" at Stevie when he was bringing the ball up as the clock was running out.
