Considering that the Cats played a fairly close game last night and Buffalo was rested, the Cats played a helluva game tonight.  I thought Buffalo pulled close in the second half because fatigue may have been setting in on Ohio.  They were often just a little slow reacting.

Glad to see Baltic get back in the groove and Keely really step up tonight.

Ohio got the A-game from Watt tonight, so beating this Buffalo team three times this season is a badge of honor. No question after that if the voters got the POY award voting right. It's not fair that Buffalo has not one but two guys who are long, strong and can finish on the block. If they had some guards....whoa...they'd be a team that could stand up to some major conference front lines.

It took an otherworldly 3-point shooting performance to just get out of there alive.

The MAC's system of byes worked to perfection, setting up great semifinals and finals games.

I like to moan about what the conference gets wrong, but tonight showed me just how good this tournament can be if you reward the regular season.

Can't wait to be in the Q tomorrow night. Raucous. Just raucous, I'm imagining. And chippy as hell on the court.

The difference was defense and Ohio had a better defense than Buffalo. Bobcats go critical stops late.

I know that it's been a somewhat consistent weakness of us this year, but better rebounding on the defensive glass would've made the last 2-3 minutes a lot less stressful.

Not to mention, better foul shooting.

"D" Has been the Key - And wins in the end. I like our side of the scenario a lot better than the other - having to "hope" OHIO misses, as opposed to having to "hope" their team can hit at the end..................

+1.  The Cats should spend the entire shootaround today on free throws.
