Twice this season Ohio prevented McCrae and Filzen from lighting us up.
Can we do it a third time?

I'm going to be in Downtown Indy tonight. Anyone have any ideas on if I could find a place to watch the game? I don't have any idea what cable network they have in indy.

scotties Brewhouse, 2 blocks north of COnseco...uhhh Bankers Life where the Pacers Big Ten toueney play. Ask them to switch one of the multitude of Tv's over for ya. Call ahead and tell them you are coming and explain the situation. IF you truly need a place and can t find one PM me and I will see if PB is watching at home and wants some company. Scotties both downtown and northside have been pretty good about switchng one or two tv's but the BIG Tedozen tourney is in town. Alternatives are Traders Point and a few others. Call ahead and talk to the managers.

I'm hoping those first 10 minutes last night were just some rust after 5 days off, and I'm hoping Buffalo has the same issues tonight!

I was thinking the same thing and that maybe the #3 seed was a blessing.

On the broadcast they mentioned some coaches saying that having the 3 or 4 seed might be more beneficial. But you know coaches they will say one thing one year and then when they are in the opposite position they say something else. Main thing is for OHIO to start hot and keep its foot on the accelerator.

I still have Derek Scott's call of the end of that game on my iPod. Warms my heart every time it comes up on shuffle mode.

Dang, I was so close. I told Ben the line would be Ohio -4.
By the way, I've been saying it for a year: Filzen isn't good. If we don't shut him down like we have, our defense took a vacation.

Our unis are so much cooler now.
For the record Dragon you said Filzen wasn't a shooter because he can't create his own shot. I take it you are adding that he is not good. Is he at least D1 material?

False. I did not say that.

Unrelated to this game, but Reghi sounds like he's going to explode in his pants calling this Kent/Akron game. I know there's a general pro-NEO school sentiment when it comes to this tourney, but good god.

Well, it's been an exciting first half. Would you rather he call it like Joe Buck?

It absolutely was. However, it was pretty clear he was enamored with who was playing, and the exciting half on top of it just made it a little much.

I just hate both teams and he is slobbering all over them... And I notice Reghi's not saying "Akron's Zips" or "Kent's golden flashes". I fully expect a couple dozen "Ohio's Bobcats" and "Buffalo's Bulls" during our game.
