For goodness sake man. I did all my crap this morning so I could be ready to watch the game. I even told my wife I'd meet her later on which is a hall pass for her to spend $$. This could have all been prevented. 😁
Completely agree. Shifted my whole day around to watch the game. For some reason still just sitting here staring at the ESPN promo on my TV screen.

Loving listening to Russ ad Rob. Might watch the replay.

A little concerned that we haven't scored for a few minutes. given that CMU's already in the bonus and has a couple big comebacks to its credit.

I shared similar frustrations not getting the +.. I have been a member since the beginning. However not as bad as Diamond;). I like where we are right now as a team. I am pleased with how important it is for players to accept their roles. Another good W on the road. (Russ and Rob can be captivating, so didn't miss much on the +)

This was a take care of business game….get back on the bus….and get home. Mission accomplished. I know there’s a lot of work left to do, but it’s not too early to start thinking about an opponent in the 4-5 Cleveland game. Give me Buffalo, but don’t think the Beefs finish that high.

Probably going to get Ball State or Akron in the 4-5 game

Akron will finish 3rd.

Crazy to say with four games remaining but it’s almost a lock that it will be Ball State and Ohio in the 4-5 game.

I'd settle for a couple more wins and an invite to the CBI vs. O$U

Ball State with a ball buster finish: Kent, Toledo, Akron also Eastern.

Miami beat N. Illinois today.

If we beat N. Illinois at home on Tuesday, we can pretty much lock down 5th place in the MAC.

That would be neat. I like going into March gelling.

Only if we are the higher seed and game is played in Athens!

For whatever reason the program always gels in February. I think it has to do with recruiting players that have more upside with the proper coaching than what most of the MAC attracts.

I watched the 2nd half on replay last nite was surprised to find no one was able to “watch” the 1st half! Would have liked to see Clayton lighting it up and pleased that his 3’s were dropping. The BRod offensive woes continue to astound. His 3 consecutive misses at the foul line were painful. Just tough to watch knowing that he has the talent to really light up a scoreboard. I really feel for the kid and glad he contributes in other ways. Still would not be surprised if one of these few remaining games he has an offensive explosion. Great road win!

What a difference March can be with this team if Brod can just knock down a few shots a game. Thankfully, he's playing defense and contributing in other ways, but damn....two years of really not making shots. It's mystifying. I don't see Boals going through 3 years of this next year with a Brod extra covid year. Hunter, AJB and Elmore are assured starting spots next season.

Bobcats went on a 52-16 run in the middle 20ish minutes of the game. Absolute domination and very high % shooting during that run. The start was upsetting but in a way makes the easy win more impressive after we spot them 12 off the bat.

Our shooting is really improving. I'm willing to acknowledge part of it is playing weaker defenses. We've got 5 guys I am comfortable seeing hoist from 3, plus Clayton on days like Saturday can get hot. Add that to DW3 and it's a delightful offense. By the way FearLeon, Rederick is still at 40% from 3 on the season.

Defense continues to look more in sync and higher effort than to start MAC play, but again...opponent quality disclaimer.

Devon Baker another really good game, creating his own shot. Good bullet to have in certain situations when we need him. AJ Brown looked fantastic, I am ready to see him up around 25 minutes a game again. I like Sheldon but I'd just park him the rest of the way and let Miles run the point when Jaylin is resting. Gets more minutes for James/A Brown/Baker who are all scorers. I won't bother stating for the 50th time that Clayton & Roderick can handle the forward slots and we don't HAVE to use Wiz every single second Dwight is out. Oh wait I just did.

I really wish we did the game by game predictions this year. I feel like I would have almost nailed our season to date as I really felt like the schedule laid out an 11-7ish season with a weak start. Glad we had it this way rather than the opposite, marching into the tourney with confidence. Still not an easy week, NIU can be sneaky good and you never know in Oxfart.
