OZone has been going downhill in terms of trips the past couple years. Traditionally we have traveled to one football and one basketball game each season. My freshman year (08-09) I remember traveling to Kent for football and Ball State for basketball. The next year (09-10) I think we did Akron for football and Miami for basketball. Last year we didn't have a football trip, but I think there was a bus to Miami for basketball. This year, nothing at all. It's a shame because I know a lot of students (myself included) would love to be in Cleveland tonight for the game, but don't have a car to get there. I know it's got to be hard to book a bus day of, but I'm sure students would have paid decent money for a ride up there. I have no doubts they could have filled up a bus in an hour, even if they were charging $20-25 for the ride.
I remember for the 2009 tournament, there was a plan to take buses up for the semis and final if we advanced that far. I don't know if there have been any buses for more recent tournaments. (I can't remember for 2010, and I'm pretty sure there was nothing last year).
It's quite sad. The athletic department does a great job providing buses for the football championship games, but nothing for basketball. Granted, for football they know at least a week in advance that we will be there so it's a lot easier to figure it out, but still they should have found a way to do something, even if it was just for the final.

Jeff, who has traditionally arranged for the busses?

There were buses in '05, rode it up for the semifinal but I doubt there were more then 20 of on it. The final that year saw both Ohio and Buffalo fill multiple upper level sections with just students, since then the attendance has just dropped.
