Prior to Saturday’s game, all Bobcats are encouraged to join fellow alumni, students and fans for the Bobcat Bash.  The event will be held at Zocalo Mexican Grill (2071 East Fourth Street), just two blocks from Quicken Loans Arena.  Enjoy FREE appetizers and special pregame appearances by the Marching 110, Rufus, and the Ohio Cheerleaders! Saturday’s Bobcat Bash will take place starting at 6:00 pm.

Son usually watches with me, wife does not (doesn't like to see me yell at the TV).  She will be watching tonight.  Can someone give me the "keys to the game" so that she knows what to watch for.  Thanks.

Key's to watching the game for your wife-

- when #5 for OHIO shoots from really far away from the basket you're supposed to say "no no no no no no no...yes!"

- watch #44 for Akron, when he starts to cry, and he will cry,  is it a pouty cry or a defeated cry?

- is #23 for OHIO attacking the basket or loping around like a labrador off his leash?

- watch for crowd shots, try to find the one Zips fan in the crowd that doesn't look like they fell out of an ugly tree and hit every branch. (its a trick, there are none.)

Such an awesome atmosphere in Cleveland this afternoon.  37th Annual Ohio University Cleveland Green & White Club St. Pat's in the Flats.  About 800 alumni and friends were gathered at the drinking establishment and at 5 PM the band and cheer squad show up to rock the joint.  Lots of folks floating around the sidewalks in the Green & White.

Felt the excitement that only a MAC Championship game can bring.
