Don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere else, but one reason he may have been a bit shaky early on last night was that he missed the shootaround yesterday to attend a great-uncle's funeral.  It's mentioned under "Player Notes" in this item from Yahoo:

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/news?slug=teamrep...

I don't remember Reghi or Mix saying anything about it.

I didn't see kents a couple of weeks back but many asserted that was far from Reggie's finest hour.  But he's had a fine season and was getting after it tonight.

If he can add some hops, a bit more short game, and an 8-10 foot jumper for next year--which would seem do be reasonable--he will be a force...even more of a force.

I'm not sure Ohio wins on Thursday, let alone Friday, if Keely doesn't show the effort he did in the second halves of both games.

I did a double take when he took the ball from the top of the key to the hoop to draw a foul. And he had that putback where he was surrounded by two taller guys and just went right at their chests and finished.

It was impressive.

Kind of.  I had the pleasure of being back in Athens for a bit last year for work.  I watched him a bit in the off season and thought he worked a lot harder than other people.  I'm happy that it looks like he stuck with it and it is paying off.  To me this means we have the possibility of REGGIE > Devo.

Reggie will be a beast along side Baltic and Smith.  He was fantastic tonite. He had some big time buckets for us. He delivered against a very talented frontline tonite.

Reggie was a beast tonight...when he plays aggressively its all good for the cats.  I loved that take from the top of the key - he EXPLODED to the rim!

I think Offutt is the "heart" of this team, but Keely is for sure the unsung hero. Agree that as good as DJ and Hall were shooting last night, we lose without Reggie's work. Let's hope he keeps that intensity up again tonight.

The problem with Reg it seems is he disappears for 2/3/4 games at a time sometimes. If he could ever stay consistent he can be a force.
