Interesting mock bracket in USA Today has the MAC Champ playing Georgetown in Nashville. Deja vu on two fronts?

That would be a nightmare. Preparing for that 1 3 1 and the length of those players is a coaching horror film. Zach Novak and Stu DOuglass are on their way out ona good note and a MI is playing well right now. Bacari is a great game planner. Out of all the match ups I abhor this is one....save for Kansas in the first round.

IMO......Lunardi has the MAC in the hardest 2 seed side of the tourney bracket.

Ohio University beating Michigan in the NCAA Tournament in Cowtown would build our fanbase faster than if we were to beat tOSU in ANY sport, ANYWHERE, EVER, simply due to the high number of dual hatters in our alumni ranks who would likely be conflicted over an OHIO defeat of tOSU in hoops or FB.

That would be a dream opportunity for increasing OHIO fandom that would likely only be surpassed by beating Michigan in FB.  IMHO, of course.

I think you are absolutely correct in that assertion Dave. Beating Michigan right now is the problem in the scenario. They are a probgram on the rise/rebound and have quietly renovated the Crisler Center and resurrected the program unde rBeilien and Bacari. Facilities and a commitment to the program have left them in a very good spot with a system that opposing teams do not see much .

Bating Michigan in Cowtown would be fun and amazing, Would the NCAA be so bold as to put MI in the heart of Ohio?.
