Some other people mentioned this would be the worst possible 1st round matchup.

Albuquerque is the worst site we can ask for. At least with Portland, there is an alumni chapter that proved it will show up by coming to our game out there earlier.

One question: Are the seeds and sites set in stone? For example, in Lunardi's latest bracket, he has Pittsburgh hosting a 1v16 game as well as 8v9, 6v11, and 14v3. Is Pittsburgh locked in to host those seeds or can the setups fluctuate?

None of the other four scenarios presented on this ESPN bracket are very favorable either.

Two of the other #13 seeds in Portland? And we thought Idaho was a long trip.

The other #13 seed is a play-in game.

Not complaining at all, though. Just with talk of having games in Columbus, Nashville, Louisville or Pittsburgh, I was hoping for something closer.

I know the dates are set for each site, but I think the seeds can go anywhere.

March 15, 17 Second and Third Albuquerque, N.M.
    Louisville, Ky.
    Pittsburgh
    Portland, Ore.
March 16, 18 Second and Third Columbus, Ohio
    Greensboro, N.C.
    Nashville, Tenn.
    Omaha, Neb.

I would be there so that's one. Actually we had a few people at New Mexico. State football and Wyoming football so we'll a few of course- not many. I think most are just happy to be in the tournament.

If FSU beats Carolina today..no way FSU gets a 4 seed. These guys will be a 3 easily.

FSU has 6 seniors and a 27 year old who get serious minutes. I will take anyone else over FSU in a 13-4/14-3 game. The Seminoles can make a deep run in the NCAA's.

Baylor would be a really bad draw too.

I've resigned myself to realizing we'll have a tough opponent. I just hope that the venue is a decent location so as many Bobcats as possible can travel there.

It's the NCAA Tournament...of course we will have a challenging opponent. Hoping for Nashville, but understand that we may be headed west.

Exactly.  I think whoever we draw will by definition be a Top 15 team.  That's OK.  Georgetown was ranked #12th overall when we played them 2 years ago and we know how that turned out!  Bring 'em on, I say-GO CATS!!!!!

That's fine....the Dance is da Dance....we've never had lean years in b-ball....have in football.....just revel in the fact that whether you're at the site.....or a B-dubs....or a cabin in Gatlinburg like yours truly....people are gonna come up to ya and say....."Didn't you go to school there?"

Last night, CBS had us in Nashville playing Indiana. This afternoons update keeps us in Nashville, but slides Wisconsin in instead.
