Should we lobby for coach Groce to call them Michigan State or "the Spartans"?  Is that too disrespectful the the real Michigan State?

What else could we do?  The crowd chanting "Beat the Spartans"?

Years and years ago the late Curt Gowdy called us either the Ohio State Bobcats or the Ohio University Buckeyes -- I have forgotten which blunder it was.

A Columbus draw would be pretty special.

That's interesting. A #13 seed?

Nice tie-in to Ohio's NCAA history.

vs. Indiana -- 1994

@ Nashville -- 2005

Ohio vs Michigan in Columbus with perhaps someone named Kellogg knocking down a game winner.......That would pretty much be the script I would write for this story.  I'm hoping for Columbus and Michigan with the Bobcats sending the team up north home early.  I'm sure we are the last team Michigan wants to draw in the opening round. Crowd would be very pro-ohio.

"Michigan would be a tough draw. I want Florida St, Florida, Marquette. All beatable."

We do not want to draw Florida State -- very tough team, well coached, and good talent.  Even as compared to Michigan, I am not sure I would prefer Michigan.  UVA beat Michigan soundly and lost twice to Florida State.   But I believe no one should take OHHIO lightly.  When we are hitting on all cylinders, playing the very good defense we have been displaying, we can beat anyone.  I like the run we have had and will give love to the Bobcats in my bracket!!

Correct.

Yes, correct. I didn't mean to imply we were a #13 in '94, just that it would have been Indiana again. Two separate thoughts brought together by one poorly written message board post.

I'd rather see Michigan than Indiana. The Hoosiers are scary when on their game. I think that Michigan can be whooped, even by a mid maj program

Bobcat apostates to Columbus would finally root for us.

If the Bobcats draw UM, I will probably cheer louder for Ohio than I ever have before!

If we play UM in Columbus and can get more fans there than them then we need to have ready a quick chant that gets the point home on how stupid it sounds to call one school by the name of another just because the names are sort of similar.  I think chanting "Beat the Spartans" to the same cadence as they chant "Beat Ohio" may be the best option.

Better ideas?

Once I saw Temple up there I knew where we were headed. Felt it in my basketball bones'

Stu and Zach are good Hoosier natives and family frinds I rooted for all year but they just became a stepping stone

Bacari has been good to us.....will be good to see him again ....

Bobcat Nation got what they wanted ...now it is time to travel, stand and deliver

Born,

You know Bacari and this Michigan team well. When you give your analysis on this game start a new thread. You have 4 days to break it down.
