The Post tweeted that we won the most football and basketball games combined of any Division I school this year.

GO CATS!

They're wrong. Missouri has two more wins than we do.

Columbia is West of the Mississippi River, so we are the Winningest School East of the Mississippi!

Damn, they do have us beat. But by my calculation they only have one more win than us? I guess we'll be tied after we beat Michigan!

Yikes. If the Post did Tweet that, they likely based it on the thread I started. And although my info tries to be as accurate as possible, I'm not sure a newspaper should take it to the masses without some fact-checking.

Thanks Tim for pointing out Mizzou had another win. I checked the scores/standings on Yahoo! Sports when I compiled the list, so I'm not trying to pass blame, but I went with what they had (must not have updated based on a late game?)

10TV picked it up too (potentially from The Post?).

On the whole, though, very nice coverage from WBNS, and they touched nicely on the "Ohio" issue.
