Gottlieb has us pulling the upset and facing Cal in the next round.

Apparently Bilas said something about Coop and Kellogg, but I missed it

I think it was Gottlieb who said Michigan lives/dies by 3 and Ohio's 13th ranked defense against the trey was why he chose Ohio.  Ohio's going to be a popular upset pick this time because of the 2010 team and Michigan's beat down yesterday.  (Only die-hard Ohio fans took Ohio over Georgetown two years ago).

I really like the draw better than 2010...we just won't be as much of a surprise, but everyone in Nashville's arena outside of MU fans will be behind Ohio....no self-respecting SEC fan would dare cheer for a Big TwEleveN team.

Hopefully some of the Cincy fans stick around from the afternoon session. I'm sure they'd all be pulling for us as well.

"The Experts" on ESPNU were just effusive in their praise (well, relatively speaking)

Edit: Dino Gaudio (OHIO '81, former Wake Forest HC) lead off the praise and picked us for the upset. A couple of the others also had fairly positive comments, though no one else picked us

"The Experts" on ESPNU is breaking this down, at least 3 of the guys are praising Groce, calling him a rising star. Talked about all of the screens, and how impressed Pitino was with him after that game.

Only one guy actually picked Ohio, but not a soul said it would be an easy win for the Wolverines.

Dino Gaudio went with his alma mater. Valvano said a lot of nice things.

I just love it when people say great things about a team and then pick the other guy.  Reminds me of a Kodak All-American show a few decades ago that praised all the people they "considered" for each position and then picked somebody else.  Almost as bad as the smug arses on the panel who just said "Michigan" and nothing else.

Fran Fraschilla was just on Mike & Mike. Talked up Cooper as a great PG and Nick's 3-point ability. He has us beating Michigan, Cal upsetting Temple and us advancing to the Sweet 16

I'm a bigger O-H-I-O than all of you but there's too much talk here of beating Mich.  It can be done but it's hardly a walk in the park.

Yeah, I've been worrying about that too. I'm afraid that, if we don't win, it'll hurt all the more because we've talked it up so much.

Absolutely no mention of us in the article, but watch the video.  Gottlieb gives us a good 60+ seconds.

(3:20 mark for the impatient)
