36 minutes played, 8-16 FGM, 4-9 3PM, 3-6 FTM, 1 reb, 6 assists, 4 steals, 2 turnovers for 23 pts

That's a man's stat line!  Though I almost feel bad for Abreu because his statline is superb.

Can't get the radio feed but I have to assume he was the tourney MVP.

It looked to me like the second FT at the end was a purposeful miss.. Looked a little too flat for a regular shot and I don't think DJ would get that nervous...Of course I couldn't hardly watch, so what do I know.

It definitely was an intentional miss.

There was something that felt like pre-determined destiny, good karma, about that shot........

Yes, DJ was MVP. And yes, the miss was intentional. And yes, DJ misses better than Abreu.

The place exploded when he hit that shot. And he got fouled too.

Don't look now but over his last 12 games DJ is 34-93 behind the arc or 36.6%.  That translates to an effective FG% of 54.8%.

No Doubt DJ's outside shot has been much better down the stretch. Hope it keeps up - we'll need it Friday.

Coop seems to have a pretty good history of playing will in the big, spotlight games.
