Is it ever possible to work out a deal with a fan of the other game in the session to swap tickets? And does anyone know the cost range?
It was simple to do in 2005. We lost our game, and then sold the 2nd and 3rd session (rd of 32) tickets for just about face value immediately outside of the arena. Hoping for similar luck this year, and no need to sell the Sunday session tickets.
Yeah...but Louisville was one of the other teams at the site in 2005, so their fans were carrying the load being less than 3 hours away.
I really think tickets will be easy to come by and drop on price on second hand market given the lineup of:
Ohio
Michigan
Temple
California/USF
St Bonaventure
Cincinnati
Texas
Florida State
- The arena holds 17,000+..
- It's not soldout now (you can buy on TM now)...
- there was just an article in USAToday Friday on declining interest in college basketball...
- the closest team is Cincinnati at about 5 hours, then Ohio at 7 hours, then everyone else is 9+.
- What a pain for fans of Cal/USF to do travel plans for a play-in game
I wouldn't by the other sessions unless you want to attend them. If nothing else, guarantee your Ohio session, then pickup cheapies for the early session outside the arena at gametime.
