So - after starting the "Drink The Green Kool-Aid" proposition a while back in the season (my resolution to just give in to the frustrating game inconsistencies of various players, apparent random chucking of 3's, buy into the "Defense First", etc.) - and our great success since then - I decided I needed to actually buy some and toast the start of the game with it tonight!

So - stop in a Kroger, go to the Kool-Aid section, look for "Green" Kool-Aid (thought it was Lime flavored), and......WHAT, NO GREEN KOOL-AID????? There was Lemon-Lime, and looked like it was green when made, OK....BUT WAIT - Lemons are YELLOW! Crap, too close to "Maize" for me! So, leave store, proceed to Meijer across the street. Go to the Kool-Aid section, look for........Holy Crap - No Green (Lime only) Kool-Aid here either! So...need more info here....lady in the aisle.....approach...."Excuse me, do you happen to know if the Green Kool-Aid has always been Lemon-Lime, I always thought it was just Lime?" She answers, "Not sure, but I know the Kool-Aid with that is indeed Green".

So - then I deduce - if indeed the mix is Lemon-Lime, and the resulting drink is Green - Then There You Have IT - Green Beats Yellow!

Toasting the start of the game in about 45 min w/glasses of Green Kool-Aid with my son - both wearing our fancy new Black uni shorts!

Sorry, I'm so nervous I don't know what state I'm in.  It's Statesville, N.C.  We are heading to Georgia but not there yet.

we've both got to do the same thing in (less than) 2 days
My regimen is set - start game w/Green Kool-Aid - rest of game Guiness (I did do another shot of the green Kool-Aid when it got to 63-60)......

I used to make a drink in college....green Hawain Punch and vodka.....I called it Ecto Cooler. You might give that a try.
