     I have a feeling he'll be back. DJ could have transferred after frosh season but stayed. My gut feeling, nothing more, is that Groce will stay for DJ's (and Ivo, Reg, Walt) senior year.

Disagree.  You're judging that off other coaches.  Nothing Groce says or does seems to say that he's out right now.  He loves this team.  He loves Cooper.  He loves OHIO.  Don't assume he's gone.  If I were a betting man, I'd bet he'd be back (with a SIGNIFICANT raise).

MAYBE EVEN OUR COACH!! I managed to stop myself at the last minute, but I almost sent John Groce an email offering bone marrow, a kidney, or a liver graft were he but to return for another year (i didn't send the email because it sounded creepy, but the offer stands, if anyone has his ear). If he comes back for DJ's et. at's senior year or not, he's now officially an OHIO legend and forever beloved among the OHIO faithful.

If Shaka Smart makes $1,000,000 at VCU, we at least should up Coach Groce to $600,000 if not higher.  And before the neasayers at Ohio academia start to complain, Ohio's already enjoyed or will enjoy 10 times the amount of any raise in free national publicity it will receive over the next week.  This is a no-brainer.

I think Coach Groce will be back....talking to Tunji tonite he says that this incoming transfer from Mizzou is a LEGIT BEAST and thats is pretty much all we need honestly to make another run next year.

Born...great point. Wrote one check for the locker room project and another one goes out this week.

If Smart takes Illinois job, are you convinced we have Coach Groce for one more year? The only jobs open right now are South Carolina and Mississippi State. Surely, Groce doesn't go to VCU or Wichita State if Smart goes to Illinois and Marshall to S. Carolina. I'm taking Nebraska out of this and Miss State is interesting, but he has no SEC ties. Thoughts?
