Come cheer on the Bobcats in Sweet Sixteen as we continue to enjoy the NCAA Tournament run!

The Central Ohio Chapter invites you to join your local Bobcats at Gresso’s to watch the big game on the big screen from 7:00pm until 11:00pm. Complete with Marching 110 music du...ring the breaks and OU-themed menu and drink specials!  We've had great crowds for the last two games, and look forward to another great night!

Gresso’s is easy to get to from the Greenlawn Ave exit off of 71 S. and has FREE parking available in the lot across the street. There is no cost for the event but donations will be accepted for the Central Ohio Alumni Scholarship Fund.

I wanted to add thanks to anyone on here who has come out for previous watches.  We blew away expectations both times, and pretty much over ran the place for the opening round game.  If you were there, or will be there, chime in and let me know.  I always like to meet fellow Attackers in person.

Is this open only to students or alumni? I am neither, but I am driving up to Toledo Friday night from Marietta and could stop up on my way there.

It's open to anyone who is a fan of the Green & White, so come on up and join us.

I don't think of Gresso's as much of a family place - can anyone say if this event is kid-friendly for the game watches?

While I agree it isn't designed to be a "family" place, there have been a few kids present at previous watches.  I think given that we're the early game, I don't think you should have any problems there.  In a PM, if you'd like to help us find a place in the future that you find to be more kid friendly, we'd welcome that assistance.  We had a few places we aimed for in addition to Gresso's to no avail.

Let me add to that thought - I'd like everyone to feel like they can bring kids to nearly every event, particularly events centered around OUr sports teams.  If for some reason people around you when you're at an event make you feel uncomfortable about having kids there, please let us know.  There are a few people manning the entry, or I can be PM'd here, or you can look me up on the Facebook event.  I'm Ryan Stroh.  There's no reason we can't have people behave and use language that's appropriate around kids.  (I'm going out on a limb assuming this is at least one concern)

One suggestion I would make is getting there early if you have kids to ensure you get a good seat to accommodate your kids being able to see. I would assume it will be crowded.

Look forward to seeing everyone there!

do we have the upstairs room booked? If so, I may very well bring the kids. I think they'd love a Bobcat Pizza party :)

I was just worried that we'd be crammed in near the bar downstairs and that wouldn't work with them.

We do have the upstairs room booked, yes.  We pretty much own the place on Friday.
