Mrs. Oldcat and I will be in Akron/Canton area Friday evening and since we are not familiar with the territory we would like to know if there is a favorite gathering spot for other cats. Any help appreciated as we don't want to step unknowingly into Zippy's home turf.

Not that I go out a lot, and I've always just watched the games at home...but I don't think any bar is going to be Zip territory, even if it's downtown Akron!

I went to the Akron vs. OHIO football game in Akron this year. We went to a bar downtown, right next to campus, for some pregame brews. There were more OHIO fans in the bar than there were Akron fans. I can't remember the name of the bar though.
