I get the sense that even the most ardent of Bobcats fans have the unspoken expectation that this is where the ship hits the sand so to speak once we take the floor vs. the Tarheels (with or without Marshall)
What no one in the country may realize and what I am most looking forward to seeing is who has the quickness advantage at each position on the floor.
Yes the heels have the more talent but that isn't the end of the things. From their perspective they don't know much more about us other than what they have learned this week. (and honestly why should they know any more than that) What they do know is they know who they are and that's what they will focus on once the game starts.
It's basically an approach of "we're North Carolina and what are you going to do about us?"
IF (and I can't make that "IF" large enough) we prove to be the quicker team to loose balls and to spots on the floor that we want to get to before they can along with knocking down our outside shots (a.k.a 3 pointers) then it can all of a sudden become a game of it's not what are we going to do about them but what are they going to do about us?
How do you full court press a team that's quicker and playing with no fear if you have fallen behind and need to spark a comeback?
Half court trapping yes we could be more vulnerable but not full court.
With all that being said, I need to see for myself that this team can't compete with the Heels in order for me to believe it.
