Tonight he showed to me as much in defeat as he has in victory. First, he struggles to hit shots he hit v. Michigan and USF. Does he pout? No. First, great passing out of the post. Then he adds good D and reboudniungn. Kerr pointed out he could use a little more arc (throw in St. Louis joke) on his shot, but think if a couple of this rattle in and not out. Solid on the boards. If we see more of this Ivo next year, we can go a long way. And I'm talking more than Butler long way. Seriously, people. We have all the pieces for next year. I hope we're "all in," because we weren't in 2005 and 2009.

He, over the past three weeks, looked like the player we all thought he was going to be after his freshman season. It's a confidence thing with Ivo, I think. When he plays with confidence he believes he can break down any big man in the country with his face-up game and a mid-range game few big men in ALL of college basketball have.

How many shots rimmed out for him tonight? Man, if just one of them fell...

Steve Kerr mentioned that his shot is a little flat, which causes that rim-out. (Anyone else makes that comment and I dismiss it, but it is Steve Kerr.)

I hope someone works with Ivo to fine-tune his shot so he's even better next year. Ivo has a strong game.
