In a weird way I think losing tonight will make it very tough to leave. I have a gut feeling that Coach Groce feels like there is unfinished business and next year could be very special. I know Ohio University can't match a Big Ten contract but there has to be big increase even it only keeps him one more year. I predict he stays, Ohio rewards him with a new contract and we see some crowds in the Convo next year that rival the Trent era.

Also, fire off a letter or email to Dr. McDavis asking him to raise all the necessary funds to keep Groce in Athens.  I suspect we've got some well healed alumni who are bursting with Bobcat pride over the Sweet 16 run and would like to "get 'er done" in terms of putting together a salary package for JG.   He should be the Shaka Smart of the MAC.  We once had the Shaq of the MAC, so why not the Shaka of the MAC?  Sorry, that kind of poor, but I'm running on unused adrenaline right now and just pounding out stuff on the keyboard to unwind.
